Application

Olive Harvesting: Their most common application. They are spread on the ground beneath olive trees (or other fruit trees like chestnuts, almonds, hazelnuts) to catch olives as they fall naturally, are hand-picked, or are dislodged by mechanical harvesters. This prevents direct contact between the fruit and the soil, minimizing bruising, damage, and contamination.
